I knew Dennis beginning from our days as friends at Carver Elementry, Marshall Jr. High and Millikan. Dennis was a smart and funny young man. We both took up playing the guitar about the same time, ran with the same crowd in Jr. High and spent countless hours clowing around and hanging out together. I was so sorry to hear of his passing. Not long before he passed away, he and Tom Curtis called me out of the blue. They went on a mission and found my phone number. I had not talked to Dennis in over 15 years. The three of us promised to stay in touch. About 2 months after that initial phone call, I received another call from Tom....it was to inform me that Dennis had passed away.
