Excerpt from Carol's obituary:
"Carol was born in Odessa Texas to Ernest and Dora Harp. She spent a portion of her childhood in Venezuela with her family, then moved through Virginia, Oregon and California, where she completed high school and met her husband, Don. Carol and Don were married on June 18th 1971. They moved to Albuquerque in March of 1976, where Carol worked at Marriott and at a bank, among others. In 1987, they adopted Britney, their only child."
